What this isn't

The honest limits — said here rather than discovered later.

It is not a product you log into and configure#

You are not buying a thing with a settings page you will learn over a fortnight. It is built for your business and you should never need to open the parts underneath it.

If you were hoping to tinker, this will frustrate you.

It is not a team#

It is one person, and every page on this site says so on purpose.

There are things a larger supplier can offer that I cannot — cover at every hour, somebody else to escalate to, a name to point at in a board meeting. If those matter more to you than dealing directly with the person who built it, the honest answer is that this is not the right arrangement.

It is not a promise about results#

This makes the routine work happen without you and puts the business in front of people who are looking. It does not guarantee a particular number goes up by a particular amount, and there is no figure anywhere on this site claiming otherwise.

Anything agreed in writing about what success means for your engagement is set out in the terms, and it is worth reading them rather than taking my word for it here.

It is not instant#

The building takes as long as it takes and I will tell you what that looks like before you commit. The part after it goes live is measured in years, and it is the part that decides whether this was worth doing.
